Save the date because I have got some good news! My book ‘Where the Spirit Meets the Bone’ is out of print and, to my delight, has been sold all over the world, from Singapore to Canada and from France to the United States. That is why a second edition of 150 copies will be released in September, which will be presented during my first solo exhibition at ‘The Engelbewaarder’ in Amsterdam.
Make a note of the date: 13-09-2023 from 17:00 till 19:00
It will be a special evening when I will share my work with you, and signed copies of my book will be available.
Keep an eye on my newsletter for more details and updates on the book launch and exhibition.

NEW WORK
Last week I started with a new long term project. I went to Arnhem to meet up with one of the dancers of my latest book ‘Where the spirit meets the bone’. I felt that I had to meet her again. This image marks the beginning of a photography project that delves deeper into the life of Lena, a young German dancer studying in the Netherlands. As she embarks on her final year as an intern in Groningen in September 2023, Lena enters a new phase in her life to discover her true identity, both as a dancer and as an individual.
